Love Yours

Love yours. There’s no such thing as a life that’s better than yours. I am lucky. No I am blessed. Last month I miraculously dodged what would have been a fatal car accident. This shit was real, a black mini-van that had faulty brakes jumped out from nowhere, in the middle of a busy road, in the night…. My car was in motion and directly in front of it. Gracefully, my friend driving swerved left in the last mini-second. Although the road was busy but luckily no one was near my car to get knocked down when we swerved. During the 5 seconds that this horror movie played out in front of me, I was terrified as fxxk.

Moments like this compel you to sit back, take a look at life and LOVE YOURS. Your heart beating fast lets you know that you’re alive. Life might not be easy but that doesn’t change the fact that life is a gift, and the best gift compared to everything else. It’s up to you to make the most out of your life. YOLO! The hustle is real and you are on the road to riches; life keeps you on that road. Use your life to touch the life of people you encounter on your journey. You might get knocked down a couple times and a couple more; but still… #YOLO.

Don’t look at people succeeding and envy their success. Appreciate yourself. Put in work on yourself; this industry is all about hard work and consistency. Turn your pain into profit and ask for strength from up above. In reality you might have less but compared to billions of people, you are blessed. Don’t be sleeping on your level, because there is beauty in the struggle. Appreciate what you have and the people you know. #HUSTLE #LOYALTY #RESPECT. Be your biggest fan because you aren’t going to be happy until you love yourself.

Here is a deep story I learnt from Wikipedia this afternoon

In Greek mythology, Narcissus was a Hunter from Thespiae in Boeotia who was known for his beauty. He was the son of the river god Cephissus and nymph Liriope. He was proud, in that he disdained those who loved him. Nemesis noticed this behavior and attracted Narcissus to a pool, where he saw his own reflection in the water and fell in love with it, not realizing it was merely an image. Unable to leave the beauty of his reflection, Narcissus drowned. Narcissus is the origin of the term narcissism, a fixation with oneself and one's physical appearance.
