Chess Lessons

Big thanks to @wizmuller aka Skinny. My chess game improved significantly during the period i played with him. 

Let me share a few things i learnt.

Before i move a piece, i look around to see if there is any spot that piece will be more effective at. It's all about strategy, look before you leap.

I play offensive game, never defensive. You stand a better chance at winning when you attack, than when you defend. But stay humble and be alert. If there's need for you to withdraw and defend, then withdraw but don't spend the whole day defending.

Deception. This can't be taught. You learn it by yourself. Learn to use your body language to convey signals of victory when you are losing, and learn to convey signals of defeat when you are winning.
